Mosquitoes are a nuisance and can pose a serious health threat. As we dive into summer, we wanted to remind you about our Mosquito Control Program, which is designed to control mosquito populations that surround your property.
How it works
Our program consists of 5 applications that will help repel mosquitoes from coming into your yard all summer long. Each treatment will last approximately 45 days. Consecutive treatments will result in increased effectiveness. Our licensed technician will use a backpack sprayer, which is designed to apply a barrier around the perimeter of your yard and home to repel mosquitoes.
It’s important to understand that mosquitoes will breed in anything on your property that holds open water. By eliminating their breeding sites, you will help dramatically reduce the amount of mosquitoes around your home. Here are some of the ways you can eliminate or manage mosquito breeding sites on your property:
- Discard old tires—no matter how you place a tire, it will catch water.
- Dump out birdbaths and kiddie pools twice per week.
- Make sure your gutters are clear of any clogs.
- Turn wheelbarrows upside down.
- Keep all tarps tight so water can’t pool as a breeding ground.
Please note: Mosquitoes are flying insects and, because of that, there is no mosquito service that is 100% effective. Mosquitoes will never be fully eradicated, but through consecutive treatments, we will significantly control mosquito populations around your property.
